What is DUI (Direct User Identification)?

DUI stands for Direct User Identification, and it’s the process required to unlock full platform access, ensure user trust, and activate monetisation features on Happydemy®.

🔐 Why is a DUI required?

We use DUI to:

  • Verify user identity and prevent fraud.

  • Enable secure access to monetisation tools.

  • Ensure compliance with EU/UK AML and KYC regulations.

🧾 DUI Process: Step-by-step for each level

✅ Level 1 Verification (Manual ID Check)

  1. Log in to your Happydemy Central ↗

  2. Go to Settings > Verify Identity.

  3. Select Level 1 Verification.

  4. Take a clear picture of one of the following documents:

    • Passport

    • National ID card

    • Driving license

  5. Take a selfie following the on-screen instructions.

  6. Submit your request.

  7. Wait for manual review (usually completed within 15–60 minutes, up to 24 hours if needed).

  8. Once approved, your account is upgraded, and you become a Verified Member.

✅ Level 2 Verification (AI Biometric Verification)

  1. Go to Settings > Verify Identity.

  2. Select Level 2 Verification.

  3. Follow the instructions.

  4. Get approved instantly (or within 5–10 minutes max).

  5. You’ll receive the Trusted Creator badge.
