Are HappyCredits considered electronic money?

No. HappyCredits are not electronic money.

They are internal units used exclusively within Happydemy® to access features, reward activity, and support the creator ecosystem.

📑 Why aren’t they classified as money?

Because:

  • HappyCredits are not issued by a licensed e-money institution

  • They cannot be transferred between users

  • They have no fixed monetary value outside the platform

  • They are used solely to access internal services or tools

  • They can be withdrawn (only if earned) as discretionary compensation, not as stored value

⚖️ Legal and regulatory clarity

  • Happydemy® does not act as a payment provider

  • The HappyCredit Vault is not a financial wallet

  • Users do not hold funds, but internal balance units

  • There is no obligation to redeem or reimburse HappyCredits

This ensures alignment with UK and EU laws regarding payment systems, AML/KYC obligations, and platform-based economies.

🧩 In short

  • HappyCredits = platform utility + reward units

  • Not money, not crypto, not a financial product

  • Built to support creativity in a controlled, ethical, and compliant environment
